It is an exciting time to be working at Agri-Neo: our business is growing, and our company has the chance to have a great impact. We launched Neo-Pure to solve a food safety challenge for dry foods like seeds, grains, and nuts. Traditional solutions do not work for these dry foods. Unlike milk, which is pasteurized, and lettuce, which is sprayed with chlorine, nothing is done for food safety for most dry foods. As a result, there are outbreaks and recalls due to food poisoning, and the industry is in search of a standard solution.

Neo-Pure can become the new food safety standard for dry foods. It uses a validated combination of chemistry and equipment to control pathogens such as Salmonella on nuts, seeds, and grains. Unlike pasteurization, Neo-Pure keeps foods raw, organic, and viable. It is a liquid solution that is applied on nuts, seeds, and grains in its Food Safety System as a validated intervention step at food processing sites. After launching Neo-Pure in 2016, we have more than fifteen food processors that are, or will soon be, using Neo-Pure in their Food Safety Systems.

At Agri-Neo we are looking for an intelligent, driven, self-motivated individual to support Account Management, identify new business opportunities and drive internal projects and processes. This individual will be responsible for managing Neo-Pure accounts to achieve sales targets, leading internal reporting and analysis, working on cross-functional projects and pursuing new business opportunities. The position reports into the Account Manager to provide on-going support based on the needs of the business and will receive increasing account responsibilities as objectives are achieved. This individual will aspire to progress beyond the Jr. Account Management Role and will be keen to learn & develop their skill sets to grow their long-term career within Agri-Neo.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow Neo-Pure sales through effective Account Management, Relationship Development, and Problem Solving
• Identify & pursue business development opportunities to grow Neo-pure sales
• Lead reporting and results analysis
• Manage current Neo-Pure ordering process
• Developing new sales tools and leading internal sales project support
• Marketing & Operations project support
• Provide cross-functional project support primarily to marketing and operations department

Candidate Profile

• University graduate preferably with science or business background
• Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience within the food science field/food industry with an aptitude for business development
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical and interpersonal skills
• A self-starter, work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to effectively navigate ambiguous challenges and deal with difficult situations without getting overwhelmed
• Collaborative skills and desire/experience working in cross-functional teams
• Ability to adjust and change direction with short notice
• Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule when required to meet deadlines
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Must have the ability to problem solve and work independently
• Ability to travel within North America (Canada and the US)
